Privacy Policy — Contact Number Fixer
Effective date: 8 September 2026
Contact Number Fixer is developed by Fagaru Systems. This policy describes, in full, what the app does with your data. There is nothing beyond what is written here.
The short version
The app never connects to the internet. It cannot transmit your contacts anywhere, to us or to anyone else, because it has no network access at all — this is not a setting you can turn off or on, the app is built without the capability to begin with.
What the app accesses, and why
- Your contacts (read and write). The app reads phone numbers from your contacts to check them against a set of number-correction rules you control, and — only with your confirmation — writes corrected numbers back to the matching contacts. This is the entire purpose of the app.
- Storage, to write a backup file. Before changing any contact, the app writes a backup of the numbers it is about to change to a file in your device's own storage, so you can recover the original values yourself. On Android 9 and earlier, writing this file requires a storage permission; on Android 10 and later, no extra permission is needed.
What the app does not do
- It does not have internet access. This is enforced by the app itself, not a policy — the permission is never requested, and the build is checked automatically to confirm it never appears.
- It does not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services.
- It does not create an account, ask you to sign in, or associate your data with any identity.
- It does not share, sell, or transmit your contacts or any other data to Fagaru Systems or to any third party, because it has no way to do so.
Where your data lives
Everything the app reads and writes stays on your device:
- Your contacts, changed only when you explicitly confirm an update.
- The app's own record of its rules, profiles, and past changes, stored in a local database on your device.
- The backup file described above, stored in your device's own visible storage, under your control like any other file you create.
Uninstalling the app removes its local database. The backup file is a normal file in your device's storage and is not removed automatically — you can delete it yourself at any time.
Intended audience
This app is intended for users aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, is not marketed to children, and does not knowingly collect data from children — though as described above, it does not collect data from anyone at all, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same address with a new effective date.
